Introduction

Nursing is a profession including range of specialties. Nursing includes the promotion of health, Prevention of Illness and care of the ill. Nurses strive to achieve the best possible for quality of life for their patients, Regardless of disease or disability.

Teaching Methodology

The Training for Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife is offered as a 1.6 years duration course. The Course cover all the related topics of the study field.
The course is open to student who have successfully completed class 10+2 or its equivalent. Upon completion of the training the candidate can be register himself/herself as Registered ANM.

Future Prospects

Registered ANM have good scope in public as well as private sector. They are specially trained to look after the health needs of people living mainly in the rural areas, particularly mother and children. All sectors are in high need of their service. They can also work as home nurses or as community health workers on a regular paid basis.
